The Galaxy Buds 2 TWS earbuds are not yet on sale, and Samsung has already released a software update for them with new features.
The system received build number R177XXU0AUH2 and was released so far only in South Korea. The main innovation of the firmware was a function that allows you to activate the “transparency” mode (aka Ambient Sound) during calls. Even after the update, it became possible to activate the noise cancellation system (ANC) using one earphone, as well as the ability to reconfigure a double tap on the edges to adjust the volume. In the coming days, the update should appear in other regions.
Recall that Galaxy Buds 2 were presented together with foldable smartphones Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. The headphones are waterproof according to IPX2, Bluetooth 5.2, ANC standards, as well as an autonomy of up to 7.5 hours without a case and up to 29 hours with it. Galaxy Buds 2 can automatically switch between Samsung smartphones and tablets based on One UI 3.1 firmware.
