Senator Blackburn called on Biden and Harris to resign

According to the Republican senator, the current administration is directly responsible for the tragic situation in Afghanistan.

Republican Marsha Blackburn, representing the state of Tennessee in the Senate, called on President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, and the head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley to resign due to their guilt in the situation that has developed in Afghanistan.

According to Blackburn, the above-mentioned leaders of the state should resign. Otherwise, they risk facing impeachment and removal from office. The senator believes that today’s terrorist attacks at the Kabul airport occurred, among other things, due to incorrect decisions made by the U.S. leadership.

“The only reason why we were forced to protect Hamid Karzai International Airport was that Joe Biden went against the recommendation of the top military leadership and ordered to leave the military airfield in Bagram. The murderous actions of Joe Biden and his national security team allowed terrorists to take control of everything,” the senator said in a statement.

“Today’s death of American servicemen is a direct result of Biden’s weak leadership and the unsuccessful withdrawal of troops. America needs to believe in its leaders, and we can no longer trust the Biden administration,” Marsha Blackburn concluded.
