The shooting at the church in Orange County (California) was arranged by a 68-year-old Asian man who came from Las Vegas (Nevada). This was reported by the Los Angeles Times.
According to it, the shooting began after the morning service, during a lunch reception in honor of the departure of one of the clergy to Taiwan. Parishioners managed to neutralize the shooter. They hobbled him with an electric extension cord and took away two pistols from him.
The shooting at the Geneva Presbyterian Church occurred on Sunday at about 1 pm o’clock local time. As a result of the incident, one person was killed, five were injured, and four of them were seriously injured. At the time of the shooting, there were about 40 people in the church, mostly who came to the United States from Taiwan. The police are currently interviewing witnesses.
