The company’s employees intend to return the first stage of the carrier to Earth again.

SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 launch vehicle on Thursday with another 60 microsatellites for the Starlink orbital network. The broadcast is conducted on the company’s website.

The launch from the spaceport at Cape Canaveral (Florida) took place at 03:13 East Coast time.

SpaceX employees intend to return the first stage of the carrier to Earth again. A few minutes after the launch, it is expected that it will smoothly descend to a floating platform in the Atlantic Ocean. The repeated use of rocket stages allows the company of entrepreneur Elon Musk to reduce the cost of launching vehicles into orbit.

The launch was originally scheduled for March 9, but a few hours before the scheduled launch time, it was postponed due to the need for additional checks.
