The launch from the spaceport at Cape Canaveral (Florida) took place at 03:13 East Coast time.

The repeated use of rocket stages allows the company of entrepreneur Elon Musk to reduce the cost of launching vehicles into orbit.
The launch was originally scheduled for March 9, but a few hours before the scheduled launch time, it was postponed due to the need for additional checks.
