Terrorists took the blame for forest fires in Turkey

The organization “Children of Fire” blamed the forest fires that have spread across Turkey since the end of July. This is reported by the newspaper Yeni Safak.

The Children of Fire is a branch of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), whose members are recognized as terrorists in Turkey. The organization publicly declared itself responsible for the fires through social networks, explaining its actions by fighting with the authorities. “It is time to bring the Turkish regime to its knees with a stream of fire until it learns to understand another language,” the statement said.

The newspaper notes that “Children of Fire” regularly organize forest fires in the country since the 1990s. They held similar actions last year.
