Tesla solar panels are 10% more efficient

Tesla panels are 10% more efficient. The company also reduced the price of devices – this will allow more US residents to use “green” energy.

Tesla has updated its solar panels – both the traditional type and the modules, which look like ordinary roof tiles. Researchers noted that the second option could be the main method for the widespread adoption of renewable energy sources. The company noted that the panels have become 10% more efficient.

According to Electrek, the average Tesla panel before the upgrade was 7.56 kW, but now this figure has grown to 8.16 kW. The price also fell from 19 to 16 thousand dollars. Tesla is confident that the decline will allow customers to buy panels even in times of crisis – “a 17% discount will help convince a decent number of homeowners to switch to solar energy.”

The company also explained that they fixed the problems that led to the fires. Several Tesla solar arrays before this lighted up at the Walmart store and Amazon warehouse. Therefore, the company began a technical investigation and canceled pre-orders for tiles.

Earlier in the UAE, Kromatix stained glass was developed, which is indistinguishable from the design elements of a building from afar, makes it possible to cover the whole building with solar panels and costs slightly more than traditional analogs, writes Electrek. Emirates Insolaire introduced Kromatix color photovoltaic glass solar panels. “The new material is much prettier than what is traditionally used for solar panels. They are very easy to install, and they produce energy, not absorb it. At the same time, they cost no more than their ugly counterparts and pay off very quickly, ”explained Rafik Hanbali, managing partner of the company.
