The wife of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Carrie, said that she is expecting her second child. The corresponding post was published in her closed Instagram account, ABC News reports.
The couple is expecting a baby by the Catholic Christmas. Carrie also admitted that earlier this year, she had a miscarriage. The wife of the British prime minister explained that she decided to share this news to help other women who have experienced the loss of a child.
“I am happy to be pregnant again, but at the same time, I am very excited. The topic of childbirth can be harrowing for many people, especially because, judging by platforms such as Instagram, it seems that everything in life always goes well. I talked to people who have experienced such a loss, and it helped me,” the publication quotes her words.
The 57-year-old Johnson and his wife Carrie already have a son, who appeared at the end of April 2020. The boy was named after two doctors who saved the life of the British prime minister.
