Most of the districts of the Afghan city of Tarinkot have surrendered to the militants of the radical Taliban movement, Free News reports with reference to a source.
Tarinkot is located in the south of the Islamic Republic in the province of Uruzgan.
According to the agency, the townspeople did not resist the Taliban. Currently, there are battles for control of the local police headquarters.
Meanwhile, on the night of Wednesday to Thursday, the Afghan military liberated a large area two kilometers from Tarinkot, the source said.
