The Argentine Football Association confirmed the death of Diego Maradona

World Cup winner in 1986, Argentine Diego Maradona died at the age of 60, according to the microblog of the Argentine Football Association on Twitter.

Maradona underwent brain surgery in early November. On November 11, he was released from the hospital, where he was recovering from surgery.

“The Argentine Football Association, through its President Claudio Tapia, expresses its deepest sorrow at the death of our legend Diego Armando Maradona. You will always be in our hearts,” the message reads.
