The cause of death of British actor Sean Connery was respiratory failure caused by pneumonia, age and arrhythmia, reports TMZ portal concerning the death certificate.

Sean Connery – legendary and for millions of fans the best performer of the role of James Bond – has passed away at the age of 90.

According to the document, the actor died on October 31 at 01:30 at his home in the Bahamas. The cause of death column indicates “pneumonia – respiratory failure, old age, atrial fibrillation (a violation of the heart rhythm, characterized by irregular or frequent heartbeats. – Ed.)”.

Renowned for his many film roles, including his role as James Bond, legendary Scottish-born actor Sean Connery passed away in October at the age of 90. According to the actor’s son, his father “was unwell for a while.”

Connery was born on August 25, 1930, in Edinburgh, Scotland. He starred in more than 70 films, but first of all, he became famous for filming in “Bond”. Connery is an Oscar winner, a two-time BAFTA award winner, and a three-time Golden Globe award winner.
