Xiaomi will introduce the next generation of tablet computers of the Mi Pad series next month. We will see at least three new items – the standard Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 along with the Pro and Lite versions. The web already has the characteristics of all models.
All three tablets will receive a 2K display based on the IPS LCD matrix with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a diagonal of 10.95 ”. The capacity of the built-in battery will be 8720 mAh. Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 and the Pro version will get 67W fast charging, while the Lite version will have its power cut to 33W.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Pro will be equipped with a Snapdragon 870 chip with 5G support and a 48-megapixel main camera with a design in the style of Xiaomi Mi 11. The standard edition will also receive a Snapdragon 870, but will be released in a Wi-Fi-only modification. The main camera resolution will be reduced to 12 megapixels.
In Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Lite, we will also see a 12 megapixel module. The hardware platform will be powered by the Snapdragon 860 processor that debuted in the POCO X3 Pro smartphone. All three tablets are promised MIUI for Pad firmware based on Android 11, stereo speakers, as well as support for a stylus and a keyboard cover, like the iPad Pro.
