To reduce the number of COVID-19 infections, it is necessary to close not schools, but, for example, night entertainment establishments, according to the chief infectious diseases specialist of the United States, Anthony Fauci.

“Close bars, but not schools,” he urged on ABC.

According to him, the best way to make sure that children are safe at school is to “keep the level of the virus in society at a minimum.”

In this sense, the greatest danger is posed by the restaurants and bars on the premises where people are often without personal protective equipment.

Anthony Fauci also recalled the recommendations, following which will help to avoid infection. The expert advised to wear masks, wash your hands more often, keep a social distance, and avoid mass events.
