The court suspended the certification of election results in Pennsylvania, but the state authorities have already stated that this does not affect the election result.

“Any further action to improve the certification of results in the 2020 election… is temporarily suspended pending a substantive hearing,” judge Patricia McCullough said in the order. The hearing is scheduled for Friday, November 27.

At the same time, Pennsylvania attorney General Josh Shapiro said that Pennsylvania’s results are already certified. Therefore this court decision will not affect the distribution of electors from the state.

“This order does not affect yesterday’s appointment of electors,” Shapiro wrote on Twitter.

He added that the state would appeal.
