Rescuers have recovered the bodies of four more victims from the wreckage of a collapsed apartment building in the American town of Surfside (Florida), the total number of victims today is 94, the head of the Miami-Dade district, Daniella Lavine Cava, said on Monday.

Earlier it was reported about 90 dead.

“We have confirmed information about new victims. The confirmed death toll now stands at 94, of which 83 have been identified,” Cava said during a briefing that was broadcast on the district’s Facebook account.

According to her, in this way, the authorities have determined the fate of 222 people, but another 22 are still missing.
