The Department of State announced the readiness of the United States to return to the talks in Vienna on Iran

The United States is still ready to return to the talks in Vienna; Iran must make an appropriate decision within its political system, State Department spokesman Ned Price told reporters.

“We are ready to return to Vienna to resume indirect negotiations on mutual return to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action. It is clear that officials in Iran, within their own (political) system, must make decisions about which way to go,” Price said.

“The ball is on the Iranian side. We are ready for diplomatic negotiations because we believe that this is in our interests,” Price added.
