The United States regards the two-day talks held in Doha with the radical Taliban movement representatives as frank and professional, Department of State spokesman Ned Price said on Sunday.

“The discussions were frank and professional, and the U.S. delegation reiterated that the Taliban will be judged by its actions, not just by its words,” Price said in a written statement following the talks.

The two-day discussions held on October 9-10 with the participation of the U.S. and Taliban delegations in Doha were their first high-level contacts after the movement seized power in Afghanistan.
