According to them, the new restrictions will affect enterprises associated with Russia’s special operation in Ukraine, and provide for a ban on the activities of Russian and Belarusian transport companies on the territory of the European Union, the freezing of Russian bank accounts and an embargo on exports to Russia, including high-tech goods totaling 10 billion euros.

The European Commission, as part of a new package of sanctions against Russia in connection with the operation in Ukraine, expected to impose an embargo on the import of Russian coal within three months. The executive branch of the European Union also proposed to ban all land and sea supplies from Russia, with the exception of agricultural products, humanitarian aid and energy resources.
