The permanent representatives of the EU countries have agreed to disconnect seven Russian banks from the SWIFT system, including VTB and Bank Rossiya, Bloomberg reports, citing sources.

According to sources, Otkritie, Novikombank, Promsvyazbank, Sovcombank and VEB.RF are also on the list. According to sources, some countries, including Poland, insisted on disconnecting more banks from SWIFT.

Sberbank and Gazprombank were not included in the list of banks approved by the permanent representatives that will be disconnected from SWIFT, the agency notes.
