The European Union has imposed restrictions on entry from the United States due to the situation with COVID-19

Due to the deterioration of the epidemiological situation due to the increase in the incidence of coronavirus, the EU has excluded five countries, including the United States, from the list of states with which it is recommended to open the external borders of the union, the statement says.

“The EU Council has updated the list of countries for which travel restrictions should be lifted. In particular, Israel, Kosovo, Lebanon, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and the United States were excluded from this list,” the document says.

Until recently, the EU list included 23 states.
