Capcom has finally broken the silence and revealed more details regarding the animated series Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness.
Unlike the movies, Infinite Darkness is the canon universe with classic Capcom characters. Nick Apostolides and Stephanie Panisello, who gave the voice to Leon and Claire in Resident Evil 2 Remake, were even taken to voice the characters. Therefore, you won’t have to get used to the characters and their voices again.
The appearance of Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield in Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness can be estimated in the screenshots below.
The series will unfold in 2006. Leon arrives at the White House to investigate the hacking of the government network, but the task abruptly turns into shooting the suddenly appeared zombies.
Claire also works for TerraSave and helps refugees abroad, where she finds a child’s drawing of an infected person. The girl goes to the White House to ask for funding and is confronted by Leon. Claire shows him a drawing, suggesting that the previous zombie invasion is associated with an outbreak of a virus in another part of the world.
The release of Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness is set for 2021 and the series will be released on Netflix.
