The first lady of the United States will return to full-time teaching

After moving to the White House, Jill Biden continued her work at a community college.

Jill Biden will return to the classroom.

After several months of teaching writing and English to students who appeared before her in squares on a computer screen, the first lady will resume full-time classes at the Northern Virginia Community College, where she has been working since 2009.

She is the only first lady to leave the White House to work full-time.

“There are some things that can’t be replaced, and I can’t wait to get back to the audience,” she recently told Good Housekeeping magazine.

The First lady was eager to meet her students in person after more than a year of virtual learning caused by the pandemic that continues to challenge the Biden administration.
