The first Nokia tablet has been declassified

HMD Global will release the first tablet under the Nokia brand. This is reported by the publication NokiaMob.

Information about the future device was noticed on the website of one of the British retailers. Judging by the declassified information, the tablet will be called the Nokia T20. The model will be equipped with a 10.36-inch screen, 4 gigabytes of RAM, and 64 gigabytes of internal memory. The device will be released in two versions — only with a Wi-Fi module and additional support for working in 4G networks.

The base model of the Nokia T20 will cost $ 257, the top – with 4G support – will be estimated at $ 280. The journalists noted that HMD Global is focused on the general consumer and will not compete with powerful devices like Apple’s iPad Pro. The release date of the gadgets is not reported, but the authors believe that the announcement will take place in the coming weeks.

Even though these are the first tablets of HMD Global, which produces devices under the Nokia brand, the Finnish company has previously entered the market of such devices. In particular, in November 2013, Nokia released the Nokia Lumia 2520 tablet, 2014 — the Nokia N1.

One of the latest releases of HMD Global is the shockproof smartphone Nokia XR20, released at the end of July. The device received a case protected from physical influences, a 6.67-inch screen, a Qualcomm Kryo 460 chip, 6 gigabytes of RAM, and 128 gigabytes of internal memory.
