The list of weapons has not been disclosed, however, as CNN notes, officials previously claimed that first of all howitzers and radars are required.

The first batch of U.S. weapons for Ukraine as part of the new $800 million military aid package announced by Washington will arrive in the region in the next 24 hours. This was reported on Friday by CNN with reference to a high-ranking representative of the U.S. military department.

It is assumed that the cargo will be delivered to the border of Ukraine, after which the Ukrainian side will import it into its territory.

The list of weapons has not been disclosed, however, as the TV company notes, officials previously claimed that first of all howitzers and radars are required, which will be delivered in the first place.

On Wednesday, U.S. President Joe Biden announced a decision to provide military assistance to Kiev for another $800 million, including 11 Mi-17 helicopters, 200 armored personnel carriers, 18 155 mm howitzers and 40,000 artillery shells, 300 Switchblade barrage shells, 500 Javelin anti-tank missiles and “thousands of other anti-tank systems.”

As Russian President Vladimir Putin stated earlier, it is obvious to the Russian Federation that “Western patrons are simply pushing the Kyiv authorities to continue the bloodshed, supplying new batches of weapons, providing intelligence, and providing other assistance, including sending military advisers and mercenaries.”
