The Moldovan government has denied the information that NATO planes landed at the Marculesti airport.

On February 24, the Moldovan parliament imposed a state of emergency for 60 days due to the situation in Ukraine and threats to Moldova’s security. On the same day, the authorities decided to close the airspace of the republic.

“In connection with the disinformation circulating in the public space about NATO planes that allegedly landed at the Marculesti airport, we inform the following: it’s fake. Moldovan airspace is closed. Over the past three days, not a single plane has landed in Marculesti,” the government’s press service reported on the Telegram channel.
