“During the past week, the number of new COVID-19 cases and deaths continued to decline: more than 3.5 million infected people and more than 78,000 deaths were reported, which is 15% and 7% less, respectively, compared to the previous week,” the WHO noted in its weekly epidemiological bulletin.
