The number of victims of Hurricane Ida in the United States has increased to six

At least six people were killed due to Cyclone Ida, which hit the Gulf Coast on Sunday in Louisiana and Mississippi. This was reported on Wednesday by NBC.

The vice president of the energy company Pike Electric told the TV channel about the death of two electricians of the company in Alabama. The incident occurred on Tuesday morning during the repair work to restore the power supply, which was disrupted due to the hurricane.

Earlier it was reported about four dead. Two people were killed, and ten others were injured due to the collapse of a part of a highway in southeast Mississippi on Monday evening. Two more people were killed in the state of Louisiana.

According to the governor of Louisiana, John Edwards, the number of victims can still grow significantly.
