The strongest wildfires in California were caught on video

In northern California, the strongest forest fires continue to rage, because of which 15 thousand residents are forced to evacuate. The Associated Press reports this. The agency published a video from the scene on its YouTube channel.

The footage showed extensive fires in a wooded area of the state. Due to the smoke in some areas, the sky and sunlight are almost invisible. At the moment, the fire has spread to an area of more than a thousand square kilometers and destroyed dozens of residential buildings.

Local authorities have warned that hot and dry weather is expected in the region, which may worsen the situation with fires. According to state representatives, the current situation is very unpredictable due to the rapid spread of fire. Residents of nearby houses collect things in advance in case of an emergency evacuation.

This summer, large-scale forest fires were registered in several regions of the United States. On July 20, it was reported that forest fires forced thousands of people to leave their homes in the US state of Oregon urgently. Several evacuation centers were created for residents of the destroyed houses. As a result of extensive fires, at least 160 residential buildings and outbuildings were destroyed.
