The Department of State commented on the upcoming 110th anniversary of the birth of the founder of the DPRK Kim Il Sung.

The United States fears that the DPRK may soon conduct a new nuclear test. This was announced on Wednesday at a telephone briefing for journalists by the US Special representative for the DPRK, Sung Kim.

“I don’t want to make a lot of conclusions about the upcoming anniversary and provocative actions that the DPRK may take. However, I believe that this could be another missile launch, it could be a nuclear test,” said a U.S. Department of State official. He was answering questions about the impending 110th anniversary of the birth of the founder of the DPRK, Kim Il Sung, which falls on April 15.
