Nevertheless, the list of the third level, which recommends that those who have not been vaccinated refrain from traveling, currently includes more than 120 countries and territories.

The U.S. Federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on Monday relaxed coronavirus restrictions for American citizens who are going abroad.

According to the updated data of the medical regulator, the fourth, strictest level of restrictions, which until recently recommended not to visit 90 countries and territories of the world even to vaccinated Americans, has now been canceled. According to the plans of the CDC, the red level of restrictions will henceforth be applied only “in exceptional circumstances” if the increase in morbidity in a particular country is excessively high.

Nevertheless, the list of the third level, which recommends that those who have not been vaccinated refrain from traveling, currently includes more than 120 countries and territories with a high incidence of coronavirus, including the United Kingdom, France, Israel, Turkey, Australia, Greece, Italy, Japan and Russia.

According to Johns Hopkins University, which conducts calculations based on information from federal and local authorities, more than 80.6 million cases of coronavirus infection have been detected in the United States since the beginning of the pandemic, more than 988.8 thousand people have died. According to both indicators, the country ranks first in the world.
