The United States is calling on oil and gas producers around the world to increase energy production. This was stated by U.S. Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm in an interview with CNN, aired on Sunday.

“President [U.S. Joe Biden] has asked all suppliers around the world to increase production,” the minister said. “This includes OPEC, includes our oil and gas producers. He [the president] is asking to increase production, as are other leaders around the world.”
