The International Court of Justice of the United Nations in The Hague will hold hearings on Ukraine’s appeal against Russia’s accusations of genocide on March 7 and 8, will discuss Kyiv’s request for interim measures, the court said in a Twitter message.

“The International Court of Justice … will hold public hearings on the case concerning suspicions of genocide under the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide (Ukraine v. the Russian Federation) on Monday 7 March and Tuesday 8 March,” the instance reports.

It clarifies that the subject of the hearing will be a request submitted by Ukraine to determine interim measures.
