The UN will allocate another $ 40 million from the Central Emergency Response Fund to provide humanitarian assistance to Ukrainians, Secretary General of the organization Antonio Guterres told reporters.

“Today I am announcing that the United Nations will allocate another $40 million from the Central Emergency Response Fund to increase vital assistance to the most vulnerable segments of the population. This funding will help deliver the necessary supplies of food, water, medicines and other vital aid to the country, as well as provide financial assistance,” Guterres said.
