The “Nord Stream-2” gas pipeline faces “guaranteed destruction” in the event of a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. Such a way to destroy the project in an article for Bloomberg was called by columnist Leonid Bershidskiy.

“Nord Stream-2″ will certainly be destroyed if Russia undertakes a full-scale offensive against Ukraine,” the journalist writes.

He also suggested that a “smaller-scale operation” of the Russian Federation could shift the timing of the launch of the gas pipeline, which Washington would certainly take advantage of. “The United States would have gained time and received convincing arguments for its almost lost battle with the Russian gas pipeline today,” the observer believes.

Bershidsky concluded that Moscow does not intend to “unleash a war,” as it is interested in economic cooperation with Europe.
