According to the South Korean military, the ballistic missile was launched at 7:52 local time from the Sunan area in Pyongyang. The rocket flew about 300 km at a maximum altitude of 620 km and fell into the Sea of Japan. This is the eighth launch of the DPRK since the beginning of the year.
