This was the fourth delivery of additional security assistance in the amount of $60 million, which American President Joe Biden allocated to the country.

The United States has delivered about 80 tons of ammunition to Ukraine as part of the $60 million military aid approved by President Joe Biden in August. This was announced by the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine.

“Ukraine received about 80 tons of ammunition from the United States. This was the fourth delivery within the framework of additional security assistance in the amount of $60 million that President Biden allocated to Ukraine in August, which demonstrates America’s support for a stable, democratic and free Ukraine,” the embassy said on Twitter.

On August 27, the U.S. President ordered to allocate $60 million to Ukraine at the expense of the Pentagon. The funds went to defense products and services of the Ministry of Defense, as well as military education and training. This package of military assistance to Ukraine also includes Javelin anti-tank missile systems.
