The number of illegal immigrants trying to enter the United States through the southern border has increased significantly.
The United States has resumed the rapid deportation of families of illegal migrants.
The US Department of Homeland Security has stated that the families of migrants from Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador, who do not have legal grounds to stay in the United States, will be taken home by plane.
“We emphasize that anyone who does not have the right to remain in the United States will be promptly expelled,” the statement says.
Usually, illegal migrants do not try to enter the United States through the border with Mexico during the hot summer months. Still, in June, the number of arrests at the southern border in the United States reached a record high for the last two decades.
