The US has transported 40 militants IS from prisons to its base in Syria

The US military transported 40 militants of the terrorist group “Islamic State” from prisons to their base in the province of Al-Hasakah in north-eastern Syria, the SANA news agency reports, citing sources.

It is noted that prisoners from the prisons of the Arab-Kurdish detachments of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) were sent to the city of Al-Shaddadi.

The sources said that there is a commander of the IG spy groups and a specialist in the manufacture of explosive devices among the militants taken out. According to the agency, the American forces transported the militants to carry out their plans in the region.

The US armed forces illegally control territories in the north and northeast of Syria in the provinces of Deir Ez-Zor, Al-Hasakah, and Raqqa, where the largest oil and gas fields are located. Official Damascus has repeatedly called the presence of the US military on its territory occupation and state piracy to steal resources openly.
