WARSAW – The agreement reached between Poland and the United States on the expansion of US military presence in the country provides for the creation of six points where US troops will be located. This was stated on Monday by Polish defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak on Polskie Radio.
“As part of the agreement, we agreed that there will be six such points in Poland, where the units will be located,” he said.
According to the Minister, the exact localization “will be determined by the agreement of both parties.” “It is important to strengthen the Eastern flank of NATO, and hence the Eastern flank of our country, to deter a possible aggressor,” – said Blaszczak.
In addition, the Polish Minister recalled the creation of a divisional command, which will be subject to American troops on the Eastern flank of NATO.
