The vocalist of the group Girls Aloud, Sarah Harding, has died

At the age of 39, the vocalist of the group Girls Aloud, Sarah Harding, died, according to a message from her mother, published on the singer’s Instagram.

She recalled that the singer suffered from cancer, which she “fought hard from the moment of diagnosis until her last day.”

“This morning, she left us peacefully,” the singer’s mother said.

She thanked everyone for their support, which, she noted, meant a lot to Harding, as “knowing that she was loved gave her great strength and comfort.”

“I know that she will not want to be remembered for her struggle with this terrible disease — she was a bright shining star, and I hope that she can be remembered that way,” she stressed.
