Sam Neal, who became famous after the release of the original “Jurassic Park”, starred in the film “Thor: Love and Thunder”, where he played Odin, Thor’s father. Many thought that the famous actor was probably a fan of the Marvel Universe, but this turned out to be far from the truth.
Neil admitted that he is not versed in Marvel in general and in the films about Thor in particular. The actor simply did whatever Taika Waititi asked him to do.
“I have never watched any of the Thor films. In fact, the entire Marvel universe is a complete mystery to me. On the set, I often did not understand on which planet the plot was unfolding and what was happening.
I was very surprised when I found out that I was playing Thor’s fake father, I found out after filming. It would be nice if I had been told about this earlier,” jokes Sam Neal.
The premiere of the new film “Thor: Love and Thunder” will take place in 2022, the exact date has not yet been announced.
