The United States earlier imposed a ban on the export of Russian diamonds and diamonds due to the situation around Ukraine.

The American jewelry company Tiffany stops working with diamonds from Russia, as well as with diamonds of Russian origin, regardless of where they were cut. This was reported on Friday by Bloomberg.

“Tiffany suspends the purchase of Russian rough diamonds, as well as diamonds of Russian origin, regardless of where they were cut,” the agency quotes the company’s message.

Earlier, the United States imposed a ban on the export of Russian diamonds and diamonds due to the situation around Ukraine. However, it did not apply to the purchase of diamonds if the cut was made outside of Russia.
