The US President promised to name the new adviser after his trip to the UK, Ireland, and France.

Chairman of the Council of economic advisers under the President of the United States Kevin Hassett will soon leave his post. The President of the United States Donald Trump announced this on his Twitter.

“Kevin Hassett, who has done such a great job for me and the Administration, will be leaving post soon,” the head of state wrote.
He specified that he would name the new President of the Council after his visit to the United Kingdom, Ireland, and France. “I want to thank Kevin for everything he’s done, he’s a real friend!” Trump concluded.

The Council advises the President on both domestic and international economic policy.
