The President of the United States Donald Trump endorsed the holding of cyber attacks against Iran. This is reported by The Washington Post, citing a source in American intelligence.

According to the interlocutor of the edition, the attack began in the evening on June 20. Its goal was to defeat the computer systems of Iran, which are used to control the launch of missiles. The operation did not result in the death of people.

According to the source, the cyber attack was worked out for several weeks. The Pentagon proposed to put the plan into action after the attack on oil tankers in the Gulf of Oman, in which the United States accused Iran.

The US cyber command and the presidential administration declined to comment.

On June 21, Trump said he stopped US Military strike on Iran 10 minutes before it was supposed to happen. A day later, he denied his own words and explained that only temporarily stopped the attack.
