US President Donald Trump believes that he can be re-elected for a second term in November because of the call of Democrats to reduce police funding in the country.

“I was in the White House when I was told that the Democrats want to “cut (funding) and abolish.” I asked: “What are they going to reduce and abolish?” I was told,” The police.” And I said, “Oh, that’s great! I just won the election!” Trump said at a rally in Arizona, broadcast on the White House’s Facebook page.

The US presidential election will be held on November 3. Former Vice President Joe Biden is running for President from the Democrats.

Arizona is considered a controversial state, where the number of Republicans and Democrats is approximately equal. In 2016, Trump won there, gaining 48% against 44.5% for his rival Hillary Clinton.
