Donald Trump is inferior in popularity among voters to five Democrats, who can become his rivals in the upcoming presidential elections in November 2020. This is evidenced by the results of an opinion poll published, conducted by the sociological service Langer Research Associates commissioned by NBC and the Washington Post.
According to these estimates, five politicians still have the highest chances of being nominated for the Democratic presidential nomination. We are talking about the former Vice-President Joseph Biden, the Senator from Vermont Bernie Sanders, the Senator from Massachusetts Elizabeth Warren, the mayor of the city of South Bend (Indiana), Pete Buttigieg and the Senator from California Kamala Harris. They have been considered the leaders of the democratic race for several months.
According to the results of the poll, if the us presidential election were held now, Trump would lose to each of the five specified politicians. If Biden were nominated as the Democratic nominee, he would receive 56% of the vote, and trump would receive 39%. The same results would have been if Trump’s opponent was Sanders.
Warren would defeat Trump by 54%, the result of the Republican would be 39%. Buttigieg has won a victory over trump at a ratio of 51% to 40% of the votes in favor of the Democrat. Harris would win the election by a vote ratio of 52% to 41%.
Trump has repeatedly stated that he does not consider credible the results of opinion polls commissioned by some leading media. According to the head of the White House, his political opponents tend to give the desired results for real.
