US President Donald Trump has said that he is ready to visit Poland, but this is likely to happen after the US presidential election, which is scheduled for November.
“I would like that very much. You probably heard that we would have elections, and I probably won’t be able to do it (visit Poland) until after the election. Still, if everything goes well, my answer is positive,” Trump said at a press conference in Washington after talks with Polish President Andrzej Duda.
Last August, the US President’s visit was canceled due to a hurricane in the States.
In Poland itself, presidential elections will be held this Sunday.
And Trump was asked at the conference whether Duda’s visit to Washington would affect their outcome. “I don’t think he needs my help, he’s already doing well,” Trump said.
