The family of US President Donald Trump is trying to get a court ban on the publication of Mary Trump’s book ” Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man ” about the President and his family, the New York Times reports.
Earlier, Trump said that his niece Mary could not write a book about him, which is already available for pre-order on Amazon, because a non-disclosure agreement limits it.
According to the publication, the President’s brother, Robert Trump, sent a request to a court in New York to issue a publication ban based on a nondisclosure agreement signed by Mary Trump, the terms of which the book violates.
Lawyer Mary Trump said that the President and his family are trying to prevent the release of the book, which will “discuss issues of extreme importance to the public” because they do not want people to “know the truth.”
“The courts will not tolerate such a brazen violation of the First Amendment (to the US Constitution),” the publication quotes the lawyer’s statement.
Release of the President’s niece’s book “Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man” is scheduled for July 28. Mary Trump promises readers a “revealing portrait of Donald Trump and the toxic family that created him” in a book that “sheds a bright light on the family’s dark history to explain how her uncle became a man who now threatens the world’s health, economic security, and social order.”
