The head of the company clarified that he would consult with Musk on Twitter’s future plans.

The American company Twitter does not yet have a clearly formulated development strategy after its acquisition by entrepreneur Elon Musk. This was announced on Tuesday by Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal at an internal meeting with employees.

“After the deal closes, we don’t know in which direction our platform will move,” Agrawal was quoted as saying by Reuters. The head of the company clarified that he would consult with Musk about the company’s future plans.

On April 25, Twitter management announced that Musk was acquiring the company for $44 billion. The American entrepreneur previously announced his intention to turn Twitter from a public company into a non-public one, after which its shares can be sold or exchanged only privately or over-the-counter order.
