The USAerospace Partners aviation company and the Institute for Good Governance, a Virginia-based organization, have been spreading conspiracy theories about the 2020 US presidential election. Both companies are run by former Republican congressional candidate Michelle Roosevelt Edwards.

The Washington Post reported this.

The companies have been spreading reports about the so-called “Italygate” – a theory that an Italian defense company allegedly used military satellites to change votes for former US President Donald Trump in favor of Joe Biden.

According to the newspaper, in December 2020, the head of the Trump White House staff, Mark Meadows, forwarded Acting Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen information about “Italygate,” printed on the letterhead of USAerospace Partners. The second organization in January 2021 issued a press release with a statement from the Italian prosecutor, claiming that one of the hackers confessed to the plot.
