On August 10, it became known that for 23 Xiaomi smartphones, the RAM expansion function will be available along with the MIUI 12.5 firmware. Three days later, the list expanded to 42 models, which was expected. Now it has been replenished with six more smartphones.
The updated list from August 13 included such models as Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C. As expected, they were joined by Redmi 9T, which is an analogue of the Chinese Redmi Note 9 4G on Snapdragon 662 with differences in the form of the appearance of another 2 megapixel module and NFC.
Also, owners of POCO F2 Pro will be able to increase the amount of RAM. This is also not surprising after Memory Fusion technology was promised to the POCO F3, F3 GT, POCO X3 GT and POCO X3 Pro models.
Finally, Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite, Mi 10 Youth, Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 4G and Mi 11 Lite 5G have been added to the list, increasing it to 48 smartphones. Moreover, the Youth version has already begun to receive the RAM expansion function as part of the MIUI 12.5 closed beta.
